Bento boxes have been a lifesaver in my house – I love them because I can pack a variety of healthy foods into them and my kids love all the different compartments and seeing what they get for lunch each day.
I’ve never heard of bento boxes before, but that link is awesome! I’ll definitely be incorporating those ideas into my kids’ lunches!
What a fun post! I love these ideas!! I’ve never heard of the Goodbyn lunchboxes or the laptop lunches – I just might have to buy my kiddos a new, fun lunchbox today!
My husband – God bless him – makes the kids lunches for them in the morning and he always is hiding little toys inside or writing out little notes with jokes or funny sayings on them. The kids love it, and I think it’s awesome that he always takes the time to do something fun for them.
Your husband is a saint!
My little one is 3 and is OBSESSED with Elmo. I found an Elmo cookie cutter at the store and a couple days a week I’ll cut her sandwiches or pancakes into the Elmo shape for a fun treat. She loves it!
What kind of healthy finger foods do you guys pack? Sometimes I feel like I’m running out of ideas.
You have to check with the school for peanut allergies, but I buy those individual servings of Justin’s Nut Butters and send those to school with sliced apples, carrots or celery. I also do cheesesticks and turkey pepperoni slices, raisins, greek yogurt with a baggie of granola, deli meat and cheese for roll-ups, pop chips or fresh cut veggies and hummus…
Ah! Thank you so much!!! This is so helpful!!
