 Candidate Description
Photo:

Currently resides in: West Des Moines, IA
Age: 21
Gender: F
Languages spoken: English
Smoking status: Non-smoking
Candidate self-description: I'm an outgoing college graduate who loves working with children! I was a nanny for three summers, where I cared for children aging from 4-13. I love helping kids learn new skills and expose them to various cultures and activities! I got my degree in Health and Exercise Science from Simpson College, and I am very passionate about fitness, health, and nutrition! It would be so much fun to help children develop their coordination and agility to improve their athletic performance. I spent a semester in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and have had the travel bug ever since. I am very comfortable going to new places and am extremely responsible with my independence. I am not fluent, but I spent 10 years learning Spanish and would love to help your children learn a new language! I am also CPR/AED certified for infants and children.
Additional information: I babysat for numerous families and ages growing up, in addition to countless younger cousins. During my entirety growing up, my best friends were identical twins, so I am also familiar with multiples. I have taken care of everywhere from 1-8 kids at a single time. I am very comfortable with running errands and tasks that you may see fit, as well as maintaining adequate communication.
Candidate's challenges of position: The most challenging aspect will probably be adjusting to working with a new family with core values that may be different than I am used to. This will not discourage me, as I would love to learn and implement these values while caring for your children!
Candidate's rewards of position: Every single smile and giggle makes it worth it. I love seeing children enjoying life and taking advantage of the opportunities provided to them that will heighten their knowledge and quality of life! I love teaching new skills and being a positive role model.
