Candidate self-description:
|
I recently retired from a background in banking and desire to enter the work force again. I work well with others or as part of a team, able to efficiently meet objectives and assignments. As an employee, you will find I am competent, loyal, trustworthy with a proven record of success in increasing levels of responsibility. I have solid work habits, am confident with a professional demeanor. Upon my retirement from the banking industry, I desired to do something which would take me on on a different career path. I have a passion for cleaning and wish to share that with you. I also enjoy cooking and baking. Recently, I have been baking for a family member to take to work functions. Additionally, I have been working as a substitute teacher in the Rockingham County School System in the kindergarten, high school and EC class. Also, I am a certified Guardian ad Litem in Greensboro, NC. During the time my Mother was in a nursing facility, I attended to many of her needs as I believe the elderly need an advocate as well as the young. I also have experience in telephone, receptionist work. Although retired, I feel I have much to offer and continue to give to society. I want to feel I can make a difference in someone's life.

Candidate's challenges of position:
|
Given the assignment, I could enhance my skills at cooking, baking. I could also assist the elderly or the young and perhaps make a difference in their life. I could also lessen the chore of what many may consider the mundane of housekeeping as they may still be career people or just needing time away alone to regroup. Maybe an elderly individual needs a companion to get groceries, read a book, write a letter or go to a movie. I feel with any of the opportunities I have documented I can contribute and make a difference in someone's life. Any of the job opportunities will also continue to make me grow and experience new challenges.

Candidate's rewards of position:
