I am a very loving, compassionate, creative, loyal and honest person, as well as energetic, organized, and dedicated to whatever it is that I am doing. I love to learn, and am always up to a challenge. I also love reading, writing, decorating, photograghy, cooking and gardening. I am a good multi-tasker, but am also very detail oriented and well balanced. I grew up in Nebraska, and now live in Sioux Falls, SD. I love to travel and see new places and things. I worked for 2 years in a child care center primarily taking care of infants and toddlers, but I have also worked privately for families taking care of their children and household needs. Besides working with children, I have also worked quite a bit in the customer service field, and I feel that has helped me to become a more loving, caring, and understanding individual.

I am looking for a family where I will be a good fit (match). I do feel that my experience of working in a child care center has prepared me for being able to handle several children at one time, but I really enjoy the personalized attention I am able to give children when taking care of them on a more one-on-one basis. I love to read to children and get down and play with them to help them develop their imaginations. I give lots of hugs, and believe in having a positive atmosphere. I also love taking them out doors, whether in their own yard or to parks, etc. to discover new things. I would be interested in re-locating to a different region of the country for the right family.
